IPPUDO's outlet at Mohamed Sultan is doing a
tai shio bowl through July. And it was pretty good with its savory and sharp broth, flat linguine-like noodles, as well as the seared yet tender scallops adorning it. Admittedly, the broth got a bit tiring toward the end, but I still finished it to the last drop. It was nice to see
IPPUDO doing such a bowl either way; it reminded me of something that one might find at
Hototogisu or
Tsuta.
