Despite what the name says, this place serves more than just boat noodles (9 King Albert Park #01-01, 8698-9258). It's a pretty long menu, and the nice thing is that they could crank the heat up for you if you wanted. There were also the requisite jars of condiments on each table, including a pleasantly smoked dry chili powder.
The boat noodle broth was interesting though in that it was gritty and very anise-heavy. And while Thai food is supposed to be sweet in many cases, they are rather heavy-handed with the sugar here. So this wouldn't be my first choice for Thai food, but I'd still eat here if it were nearby.
