The
Les Amis folks opened this place a couple of years ago (1 Scotts Road #03-08, 6235-3312), but I never gave it much thought given that it was focused on
tendon. Then recently I noticed a couple of
non-tendon sets at the top of the menu, so I finally came over to give it a try.
It was fine. As you would expect of Les Amis, the ingredients were of decent quality. The batter was a bit thick, but presumably that's because they needed something rigid to stand up to the sauce in a
tendon. They also didn't
provide any salt, but I'd rather go to Makino anyway.
