OK, I made it back to
eggslut more quickly than I thought I would. It turns out that even on a Friday night, it was possible to get through the line in less than 15 minutes, as long as one goes there near the closing hour, under heavy rain, and with two-person dining limits to discourage others from going there. Yes, I liked that Fairfax sandwich above, not only because of how delicately those eggs were scrambled, but also because they spiked it with sriracha mayo and caramelized onions for more character. Next time I'll have to try their steak sandwich.
