I made it back to
Kwang Kee tonight to try their fried fish bowl, which was very good too thanks to those nicely fried pieces of fish. They were a little soggy after sitting in that soup, but they also provided just the right touch of fried batter to give it a more rounded taste without overpowering it. It was otherwise still the same deliciously savory and crisp broth that I slurped up in no time.
