So the
Chengdu Bowl folks (which are the
Taikoo Lane folks) also do noodles under the brand Ban Deng Noodle. And this "Double Chillis Shiok Noodle" was featured prominently on the menu. It wasn't much more than just a bed of cold purple noodles topped with both a red and green chili sauce, prawns plus corn and cucumber, and some black Chinese vinegar on the side. But it was nicely spicy, salty, and refreshing (basically a variation of
liangban mian), making it easy to eat.
