Obviously, that
paofan above is still in its takeout packaging and hasn't been assembled yet. But I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, with its very aromatic (if slightly sweet and salty) prawn-based broth, delicate and savory prawn paste balls, plus plenty of crispy rice and scallions to throw on top. Indeed, I never really considered going to this place when
the Paradise folks opened up this small noodle chain a few years ago. But if they keep this dish on the menu, then I may very well be going back for more.
