At a quick glance, this stall seemingly blends in with the others (30 Seng Poh Road #02-49). But this is from a former
Naked Finn and
Osia chef, and he offers a number of notable items, like a more premium S$12 (US$9) blue cod fish soup, available with an optional portion of fish roe that was available today, as well as a deep fried pomfret, priced at only S$6 (US$4.50)! And it was actually the
pomfret that stole the show for me, especially since you could see them taking it out of the deep fat fryer, coming out nice and crispy. The fish soup was fine too, especially with its distinctly well-rounded broth. But I'm all about the pomfret.
