Yamato Japanese Restaurant at Goldhill Plaza, Singapore

Not to be confused with the Yamato Izakaya dining hall at Oxley Bizhub, Yamato Japanese Restaurant is run by the folks behind Unagiya Ichinoji, and has taken over the spot previously occupied by Matsuo (1 Goldhill Plaza #01-17, 6250-1321). They're supposed to be a triple-digit omakase place, but with current restrictions, they are doing cheaper bento boxes for takeaway and delivery. It was an impressive box with an array of items, and was certainly a step up from the stuff you'd get at a supermarket. I should try their DIY temaki set one day.
