Another
malatang chain from China has opened not just one, but two outlets in Singapore, and I made it in today. They had a wide selection of respectable quality ingredients (loved all of the different greens available), and I really liked the sesame paste provided on the side. But the broth wasn't anything that special, and my bowl turned out to be surprisingly expensive. In that sense, I'd rather go to
Zhangliang. But I am still curious to see how the
malaban fares here.
