Hototogisu's CHIJMES outlet is running this coconut ramen right now. Initially, I thought it would be something like that coconut water-based chicken hot pot from China. It was only after this bowl arrived did it dawn on me that this was more like laksa instead.
And it was delicious. Not only was the broth well-balanced (rich and mildly spicy without laksa leaf nor being sweet), but I also loved the ingredients inside, particularly the slices of potato that they fried in a tasty oil, as well as that piece of otah. Thumbs up for me.
