A Circuit Breaker Meal from Lerouy on Stanley Street

Counterclockwise from bottom left: Salt Baked Cabbage, Pâté en Croûte, Crudités, Sourdough Bread, Lerouy's Butter

Here's another takeaway meal from a one Michelin-starred restaurant (3 Stanley Street, 6221-3639). It turns out that it is run by a former Alma chef, and is reasonably priced too.

Yes, the food was good, especially his signature salt baked cabbage on the bottom left. There was a lot going on in there, including not just the varying tastes of the ancholade, lardo, and lime, but also the contrasting textures. I was happy to eat it along with some of his piping hot bread and flavored butters, not to mention that pâté en croûte to start.

Gotta love the attention toward plating these little cardboard boxes, by the way. Apparently his normal dining service is an omakase service in an open kitchen; I'm eager to give that a go once everything opens up again.
