Mangetsu x Hyoshiro at Isetan Singapore
Isetan is doing another Japanese egg promotion, this time featuring a vendor called Sanei from Aichi. They used their Mangetsu eggs in several ways, including not just tamagoyaki and a dip for sukiyaki, but also a brioche at the bakery. The Hyoshiro counter showcased the eggs in a bowl of tsukimi udon above.
The orange color of the egg certainly was pretty, but honestly, I couldn't really taste much of a difference. Maybe that's because the broth and seaweed were already very savory, and fortunately, they didn't overcook the noodles this time. I'm not going out of my way to get it again though.
