Keisuke opened a tonkatsu place today (60 Paya Lebar Road #01-02, 6214-3345), and as the name suggests, it's marinated in shiokoji. I don't eat this enough to really spot much of a difference, but it was tender and moist inside with a light and crispy breading.
Being Keisuke, it came with things like his beansprouts and a fried egg, as well as a sauce bar (like what you'd find at a Sichuan hot pot place). But I found those unnecessary, as a simple dip in some salt was sufficient for me.
There were some other items on the menu, including a barely fried fish as well as some kind of a rolled pork and choose-your-own-vegetable thing. But I'll probably stick to his grilled fish shop downstairs, especially since one leaves here smelling like grease.
