We came to a place called Little Flour Café at World Plaza for lunch today (31st Street Corner 4th Avenue, 777-7383), and the menu featured a number of local "rice bowls." I went for this one, in part since I'd never heard of it, and also because I have trouble pronouncing it. But it was basically cuts of crispy pork knuckle on top of garlic rice, and yes, it tasted as good as it sounded. I could've easily finished the whole thing, but fortunately I had enough self-restraint to keep a small portion of the carbs, protein, and fat away from my tummy.
