Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe is a small casual chain that's been around for a while, but I've never been to one. They're now running a promotion featuring local chef Justin Quek though, so I came by to try his soup noodle above. Unfortunately, I didn't like it, as the salt and spices overpowered everything. Sure, they were upfront in calling it a "Spicy Hae Mee
Nissin Soup Noodle," but given that his name was attached, I thought it was going to be more refined and aromatic, perhaps like a bowl of prawn noodles that
one would get from a hawker center. Oh well.
