Chicken at Tongue Tip Lanzhou Beef Noodles, Singapore
This may seem odd, but Shejianjian (the Tongue Tip Lanzhou Beef Noodle guys that we love so much) has now added chicken to its menu. And despite what one might think, this breast meat was rather tasty, as they fried it in some kind of really savory oil and seasoned it just right.
They only serve it in a dry bowl though (and without a bowl of soup on the side), which makes sense given that their broth is beef-based. Yes, it's basically just a protein substitute without much harmony with the rest of the bowl. In that sense, I'd rather order the regular beef noodle, but then get a plate of the yummy chicken on the side.
BTW, they also added a stir-fried noodle dish here, but it shockingly included tons of crudely cut fillers. It also sat in some kind of slightly watery stuff rather than being the dry, aromatic, and possibly even slightly crispy thing that I had envisioned. Well, it didn't taste as bad as it looked, but I won't be ordering it again.

I ordered the chicken noodle at the Chinatown outlet, they included a bowl of the beef broth.
