FaVe Tacos in San Diego's Little Italy Mercato Farmer's Market

Mushroom, Cauliflower, and Local Chicken Tacos

We walked up to Little Italy today as they run a farmer's market every Saturday morning. There were a lot of interesting stalls doing everything from produce to pasta to avocado toast and even Hungarian chimney cakes. But I needed to get more food into my belly, and this taco stand seemed fitting, especially since they featured local chicken.

It's too bad then that the chicken was really dry. And the garnish and salsa wasn't exiting enough to make up for it either. I also had a cauliflower taco, which was better, but still nothing special. Fortunately, the mushroom taco did the best with its savory punch. Was this originally a vegan taco place that just happened to expand into chicken and dairy-based salsas?
