Char is a Cantonese roast meat place that at a
trusted advisor of mine once suggested to me. And yeah, I liked it when I ordered from UberEATS sometime in the past year. So I figured that I'd stop by one of their stalls at
Timbre+ while I was out here tonight.
But I didn't like it. The
char siew was drowning in syrup (
candied would've been better), and the crispy roast pork didn't do it for me either. The sour chili sauce was kinda good, but was also so garlicky that I stink right now. I don't think I'll be eating this again.
