Char is a Cantonese roast meat place that at a trusted advisor of mine once suggested to me. And yeah, I liked it when I ordered from UberEATS sometime in the past year. So I figured that I'd stop by one of their stalls at Timbre+ while I was out here tonight.
But I didn't like it. The char siew was drowning in syrup (candied would've been better), and the crispy roast pork didn't do it for me either. The sour chili sauce was kinda good, but was also so garlicky that I stink right now. I don't think I'll be eating this again.
