OK, this isn't exactly Pacific Northwest seafood, but I had just finished a rather painful three weeks of a no-carb diet and I was dying for a piping hot bowl of noodles. So I did a search in Google Maps, and this place was a few blocks away (901 Madison Street, 206-623-6333). I was so delighted to be having a bowl of phở that I could care less about whether it tasted good or not. Indeed, it only faintly registered in my head that the broth was slightly sweet. I might not get cravings for it again, but at least these guys are open late at night in case the mood strikes again this week.
