It might seem odd to go to
Ootoya to order a salad, but I was delighted with this, including not just the tender and delicately seasoned chicken, but the underlying salad, which was supported by watercress (yum!) and other delights like grilled asparagus and mushrooms. Note to self: next time pass on that
chawanmushi and miso soup in their
teishoku and just order this a la carte, complementing it instead with their creamy
yakko and some
jyako gohan.
