Chikodai Yaki from Ootoya Singapore

Chikodai Yaki

Ootoya has a few specials right now, like this sea bream flown in from Tsukiji. There were some small bones in there, but the meat was delicate and the skin was deliciously tasty after being grilled on a fire.

Perhaps more interesting is how I'd nearly forgotten about Ootoya (we only came here tonight after trying to find alternatives in the mall directory). I need to come back here more often.

I used to like Ootoya a lot too. But with so many new entrants to the market, I seem to have forgotten the brand after awhile. Thanks for this post (and reminder) - the fish looks good!
