Full of Luck Club in Holland Village, Singapore
This was a completely random stop. We were in Holland Village tonight and needed food before going home (oh no, Pho Hoa is gone now!). This place happened to be right in front of us (243 Holland Ave, 6208-6845), making some fancy bao above through the window.
But it was actually the bao that I liked the least, as the chicken in there was rather tough and dry. Instead, I was much happier with other things like their Golden Sand Corn, which would've gone down really well with some beer. They basically took a modern approach to Chinese food, kinda like Duddell's in Hong Kong, but much less fancy.
Admittedly we didn't really try much else off the menu aside from a soup, but this place might be interesting to come back to for some drinks and small plates. I just wish it weren't so darned expensive. And stay away from that chicken.
