I haven't been to
Bornga in a while. And now they are offering something called
yeo-san tteokgalbi, or minced
kalbi mixed with rice cakes and grilled. If it looked like
meatloaf, that's because it kinda was. But of course, it was marinated Korean style, meaning that it was slightly sweet and garlicky (and strangely came with a creamy dip reminiscent of tartar sauce). Yes, I liked it, but not enough to order it again. I'm still glad I tried it either way.
