Hachi's Hoppy Bar is now serving
tsukemen for lunch, and a decent one at that. The thick broth was full of an earthy
katsuobushi flavor, the sliced pork was tender and fatty, and the noodles were nice and firm. The dark piece of roast pork in the center was a tad on the dry side, but the soy sauce taste grew on me after a few bites. Sure, I'd eat that again. Just watch out for the
negi: there's a huge pile underneath it. These guys sure
are huge fans of onions.
