So yet another ramen shop has opened up on the former grounds of Noodle House Ken and Yamakichi (150 Orchard Road #01-17/18, 6235-3500). It didn't look too encouraging at first, with a strange gyoza-lacking menu and an even weirder way of serving ramen in clay pots. So I was surprised by how much I liked it, including the extra firm noodles and nicely seasoned broth. Then again, maybe it just tasted good because of all of the alcohol in my belly.
