Korean food came up as a suggestion tonight, so I did a quick search on Google Maps and landed on this place at the Village Court Shopping Center near Dittmer's and across from Chef Chu's (4546 El Camino Real #A5, 650-949-1200). Yeah, this place did the job, with that atka mackerel (i.e., Japanese hokke) above grilled nicely enough with all of its natural fat. But I've also been so spoiled by Korean food in both Korea and LA that this place didn't seem that special either. Maybe we should head over to that intersection of El Camino and Lawrence one day instead.
