I noticed these guys near President Restaurant in the past, and finally got a chance to come down here today (1190 Hillsdale Avenue, 979-1618). The menu seemed to have a bit of a focus on seafood, so I picked up this tostada de ceviche along with a fish taco; thoughts of Ensenada immediately came to mind.
Unfortunately, that totally set the bar way too high. I still ate it, but it was light years from that work of art at La Guerrerense. The fish taco here was a bigger disappointment; it was covered in lettuce and sour cream, and was mildly sweet too. I might come back here to try some of the breakfast items on the menu, but I'll need to find somewhere else for fish tacos.
