I wasn't getting my hopes up for this place (5592 Santa Teresa Boulevard, 408-609-7267). After all, it was our fallback option for lunch today, and I've been burned by "French Vietnamese" taglines many times in the past. But I actually kinda liked this short rib phở, whose broth was heartier and thicker than a more traditional version. I wouldn't mind coming back here to try their sandwiches next; it looks like they started up as a food truck focused on bánh mì.
