Teochew Oyster Omelette from Zion Road

Teochew Oyster Omelette

I love oysters, but I hate oyster omelettes...at least, based upon that nasty stuff that I've had in Taipei with that off-puttingly sweet red sauce drowning it. So I never bothered to get it in Singapore either until I realized that this stuff was made without that red sauce, and hence was not sweet. It was much better this way - so much that I gobbled it up in seconds. Yum.

Check out Ah Chuan fried oyster at Toa Payoh Lor 7 Food Centre. It'll restore your faith in oyster omelettes!

i think the usual oyster omelette doesnt have bean sprouts, you can try the one at China Square Central where you had the da lu prawn noodles, its usually fried with carrot cake, eggs, oysters, comes with garnishing of chinese celery and spring onions... and a tangy chilli dipping sauce (usually the chilli sauce determines the better version)

unknown! LORONG 7, sigh i can never get it. 3pm open and by right 8pm finish. I only had once cos everytime go at 7plus he sold out. Cos he only sell limited portion of super fresh oyster. I miss it so much!

Usual oyster omelette is egg, corn starch, oyster, fish sauce in singapore. No carrot cake, no sprouts...
