Here are some fried ladyfingers from
Jaggi's. The dark mess may look a bit nasty in the photo, but it tastes great. It's basically just like
potato chips in the sense that the vegetable is merely just a vehicle with which to ingest lots of unhealthy grease and salt. Mmm...
Actually, today's was a little less crispy than I would have wanted, and the butter chicken seemed a bit thinner than usual. (Have they been slipping? I had an egg curry the other day that seemed a bit off too.) Well, despite this, it still worked in the end.

Have you ever tried Hainanese curry rice? Not those kind of economy rice but those with boiled cabbage, pork chops with thick curry sauce paired with braised pork sauce.
I just had dinner at Song of India on Scotts Rd. Their fried lady's fingers or Bhindi Fry, as they call it, was fabuous. Very very thin slices, salted and fried and super-crispy!
Oh I'm not much of a foodie, but like your blog!! Love the fried ladyfingers, have your tried fried bitter gourds? they're excellent... Jaggi's also has a stuffed bittergourd dish.. try it sometime
