Trying Tsuta Singapore's Shio Ramen
I was in the neighborhood and had a sneaking suspicion that there wasn't much of a line at Tsuta anymore. And I was generally right: at about 12:15 PM on a Friday, there was effectively little or no line and I got seated pretty quickly. I went for the shio ramen that I didn't get last time, and yes, it was crisp and punchy and even had a surprise sprig of mint in it (which in retrospect I should have saved until after I ate all the onions that were in the bowl!). I also got a side of some yuzu dumplings; they were delicate, but perhaps a bit too much as the taste of the yuzu was very, very faint. Anyway, now that the line is shorter, I may have to come back to try the miso bowl soon.
