Horizon Bistronomy at Punggol Settlement, Singapore

Chilled angel hair with crab meat, salmon roe, and chorizo oil

The main reason why we swung by this place (3 Punggol Point Road #02-04, 6702-2855) tonight was because 8 Days recently featured a photo of that dish above: chilled angel hair with crab meat, salmon roe, and chorizo oil. I wasn't sure if they were inspired by Gunther's version of it or not, but it sounded great either way. The good thing was that it turned out like I expected it to, and was edible enough to order a second one.

All the same, this place wasn't so special that it made us go nuts for it either. We got some other things, both of which were fine, but nothing mindblowing. We passed on the mains since they seemed too protein-centric. If we're up at Punggol Settlement again, then we'd come back for this dish, but perhaps more just to pass the time while we're waiting for our table at the Sembawang white bee hoon place downstairs.
