
And you thought Carlos Santana only did music. Yep, apparently he is doing a salsa now, sold through Costco stores in Northern California, with a portion of the proceeds going through charity. No, I didn't try it, but I wonder if it might taste good on some of those $1.50 hot dogs outside.

Next up was Costco's selection of gift cards, including the usual suspects like P.F. Chang's. But then I saw something that I wasn't expecting to see: $100 worth of gift cards at La Vic's?? Man, that's a lot of late night drunken cholesterol bombs!

Finally, in the seafood section in the back, they had frozen dungeness crabs at $7.99/lb. It wasn't as cheap as that promotion that Whole Foods ran earlier this month, but it was still cheaper than Cook's or The Fish Market. Note to self: 99 Ranch had *live* ones at $7.99/lb, making that the best deal of them all.
