Japan's Ito-Kacho in Singapore

From rear: US Jo Karubi and Wagyu Kainomi

That was a lot better than I thought it would be. When we first got here (333A Orchard Road #04-08, 6836-0111), I was a bit worried, as it looked like it might be like Gyu-Kaku, a place that I've tried to like but can't stand how much they over-marinate everything. Fortunately, this place kept the seasoning simple, making most of what we got decently enjoyable, if pricey. Granted, it was still nowhere as good as Yakiniku Yazawa, nor even Aburiya. But it was better than Gyu-Kaku as well as many of the other places around town. Interestingly, it looks like these guys are affiliated with Tsubohachi.
