This was just another
soup place in Singapore (3 Temasek Boulevard #01-152, 6836-1711). I definitely liked it better than
The Soup Spoon, but it won't be anything that I'll go out of my way for; the taste of my minestrone soup wasn't really that much different from something that I could get out of a can. Hopefully the other varieties here are better.

I actually prefer Soup Spoon better. They started out quite good, having almost similar portions to soup spoon esp for the beef goulash. However, that deteriorated over the months.
I've never liked Soup Spoon, simply because if they were soup specialists, they could have added at least some herbs to their one-dimensional soups.
A simple bouquet garni, or some bay leaves to the cream soup; basil or dried oregano to the tomato based ones, surely this is not too much to ask for?
If one simply chucks a tablespoon full of dried herb de provence, as well as assorted chopped vegetables to a chosen Campbell soup, you could have a more delightful one than any served in Soup Spoon.
Bowl of red, and a piece of bread. Whatever the country, simple food. I like it. Plainer the better, usually is best.
