So Pinkberry's frozen yogurt rival from Korea really has opened up shop here in Singapore (3 Temasek Boulevard #01-140G). Pictured here was one of their suggested combos called Satisfying Mango, featuring mango, peach, and granola. It tasted fine, but I preferred the tartiness of Pinkberry.
Now that I think of it, I used to really like a frozen yogurt shop in Brentwood called Humphrey Yogart, where I would usually select a tart version of their yogurt and get fruit blended into it. I'm not sure if they are still around or not though - especially since it sounds like the epicenter of this recent Pinkberry vs. Red Mango rivalry was in West LA. Can anyone verify?

You could try Yoguru at Raffles City basement. Yoguru adapted its concept from Pinkberry, probably its recipe too. I've tried Red Mango & Yoguru and I find the latter's really much better, tartier.
yoguru tastes like frolick.. red mango is the best for me, along with yami!
Wow thanks for the heads up... I loved red mango when I tried it in korea!!
how is frolick? i never tried
frolick is really good, the yogurt is smooth and really yummy! I could eat a cup D! ( if they have one!)
no i think humphrey yogart is gone. there's one in sherman oaks and i remember seeing one in costa mesa.
i love red mango! i think it's the better than pinkberry!
Yoguru is the best yogurt i've had so far...I love the slightly tangy taste, and it doesn't melt too quickly either.
no humphrey yogart in brentwood anymore...we did have two pinkberrys but one recently closed. i love your blog! i'm leaving for singapore tomorrow and you have given me great ideas!
i love pinkberry!! think it tastes better than red mango too :) but then again, i've a few friends who think otherwise. it's my first time here anyhow! will continue reading it for good food places to go to both in sg and LA ;)
It looks like Humphrey Yogart *is* still in Brentwood, but has simply undergone a name (and presumably ownership?) change. It's now called Brentwood Yogurt Cafe (11677 San Vicente Blvd Suite 300, 826-6866). They still have the same metal screw-like machines to do the fruit blending.
