The Mediterranean Deli Turk guys opened another outlet at Suntec City, right next to Kebabchi (3 Temasek Boulevard #B1-147). I grabbed a few unfamiliar things, like the slow-cooked taze fasulye green beans above, as well as nohut yahni chickpeas in a tomato sauce. They didn't look like much, but they were pretty good.
The more memorable thing was a fermented carrot drink called şalgam. To my surprise, it was sour, salty, and spicy, in a good way. It tasted like a Bloody Mary, but without tomato, lemon, and booze. I'm going to be on the lookout for this at the Turkish Airlines lounge next time I'm there.
