I had forgotten that Park Bäckerei serves more than just pretzels and bread. It was only the other day when I walked by and noticed some folks with huge meat platters that I realized that I could just go here for a morning protein fix. And this Thüringer Rostbratwurst fit the bill. I'm not entirely sure if it was compliant with EU regional specialty protection given that it was in this coiled form, but presumably so. It was delicate and savory, and hit the spot.

The sausage shape is legit. They have that shape in Germany too. The idea is when you start at one end and work your way around the Germans say “The Wurst is yet to come” whilst chowing down 🥳
