I am not sure how obvious it is in that photo, but the rice underneath that sushi is like half the size of the normal sushi at Sushiro. I guess they recently started offering reduced carb options or something. I liked it because I am not that big on rice anyway, and it let me appreciate the rich taste of those thin slices of engawa. Only afterwards did I realize though that it was the same price as the normal sushi. So I guess I'm the one that got played a fool for getting half of the rice at full-sized prices.
