SG Taps is more of a bar than a place to eat, so I shouldn't have expected much (3 Duxton Hill #01-01, 6904-8474). But they way that they pitched this drunken pork dish on the menu was hard to resist given that it featured a locally-made rice wine based on a legacy recipe from China. While the rice wine itself was fragrant, the problem was that this "drunken" pork above was very dry. It was almost like a cheap piece of meat that one would get from a food court stall without much to really make it interesting. At least the selection of beer taps was fun, and the lotus root chips were thin and crispy.
