I never realized until I sat in my economy class seat tonight that the world's oldest continually operating vegetarian restaurant is in Zürich, of all places. The menu card said that they were the ones that created that pasta above. Frankly, it just tasted like many other in-flight pastas: a bit mushy and heavy on tomato and oregano. But after looking at the restaurant's menu, I am kinda tempted to make a trek into town to try the real thing next time I'm transiting through.
What was also nice by the way was all of the cheese that was included on that tray, including quite a bit of hard cheese in the uppper right corner as well as a softer cheese on the side. And the bread that SWISS Airlines serves is properly crusty rather than those horrendously mass-produced dinner rolls that one usually gets on airlines. I rather liked the slightly acidic lentil salad, and the piece of chocolate at the end is always a nice touch.
