The English House is a temple that just kicked off its second annual cultural festival (30 Mohamed Sultan Road). Naturally, there was food available as part the exhibition, and those
dacifen tapioca noodles above were the highlight for me. They were gelatinous but seasoned just right with a crisp dab of chili sauce that brought it together. Other highlights included a savory black moss soup as well as a spaghetti-like Hutou rice noodle that was easy to eat. Gotta love how there are so many different
Chinese cultural festivals lately; the crowds this morning were fortunately weren't as crazy as the
Teochew Festival either.
