The Hyper Fast Lunch Set at Fukusuke

Fukusuke has an amusingly-named hyper fast bakusoku lunch set. True to its name, it really was fast, as they immediately served an onigiri within seconds after ordering. And even before I could finish eating that, my ramen arrived. I was literally in and out of there in probably just ten minutes.

Now, one could nitpick on the quality of the food, as the onigiri was pre-made and wrapped in cling wrap, making for soggy seaweed. But the salmon inside was deliciously savory and fatty. There was some oomph in that greasy tonkotsu broth above, and that red chili sauce on top actually tasted more of black pepper.

It's definitely not worth going out of one's way for if the transit time takes longer than it does to eat the food. But being nearby and swamped at work today meant that this ten minute meal was exactly what was needed for refueling.
