Frankie Gallo Cha Cha Cha in Barcelona

Django Pizza

Pizza is the last thing that I would've thought of getting in Barcelona. But that same Albert Adrià list pointed out how Barcelona is now a bit of a pizza epicenter now, with one of the best pizzerias in Europe based here. I haven't made it up to that shop yet, but here was one that was still in his list, and it happened to be open on Sundays (15 Carrer del Marquès de Barberà, 931-59-4250).

This was indeed a very cool place. That pizza above was of very good quality, featuring things like Catalan butifarra sausage and a wonderful mozzerella cheese. It was also a fun place with a nice drink list and attitude. The crust was nice and chewy, going great with their potent chili oil and salt. And all of these "transgressive pineapple-free creations" came at affordable prices too. Cool.
