Kwee Heng at Newton Food Centre in Singapore
I'll be honest with you; I probably wouldn't have noticed this stall if it weren't for the prominent Michelin Man displayed on its lighted signage. It's an old place serving a number of things like chicken and char siew (500 Clemenceau Avenue North #01-13), but it recently got a Bib Gourmand, presumably for its braised duck.
And that duck indeed was very tender and delicate, all while sitting in a mildly herbal broth (I grabbed a soup noodle version but there are rice and porridge versions too) garnished with a bit of roasted garlic and a decent chili sauce. Now, I won't get cravings for this either, but it's nice that they are open pretty early in the morning.
