This stir-fried beef was one of the other three of the signature dishes from Nonggengji. It arrived in a gigantic porcelain bowl that was bigger than my head, and the portions were similarly perhaps twice the size of the
fish that I had last week, despite being at almost the same price.
I liked this one even more though, not only given how the chili peppers were more finely tossed into the beef, but also given how boldly salty and greasy it was without being excessive. It also came with tons of fresh cilantro underneath, which is an easy way into my heart.
