This was the other shop from Japan that was garnering long lines at the
Hokkaido Food Fair. The broth above had a lot going on, and the
chashu was tender and fatty. But the meat wasn't anywhere as scorched as what was shown on the signage, and frankly I preferred the skinnier noodles (and cleaner broth) from the stall next to it, which seemed to be run by a collective of ramen stalls from
Asahikawa.
