There are several Korean places up on the rooftop of Beauty World Centre. We randomly walked into this "Korea Family Restaurant" (144 Upper Bukit Timah Road #04-04, 6835-0877) without realizing that this was actually from the same Myung Ga folks down the street at Bukit Timah Plaza.
Just as with that location, they didn't provide much banchan, although the kimchi was pretty good, and they were happy to provide refills upon request. One also had to proactively ask for ssam, but presumably this is also why their prices aren't too high. We should give their neighbors a try either way.
