I haven't been to Bamboo Bowls in a while, but it looks like they have
replaced the first bowl on the menu yet again. As the name suggests, this one is meant to be Taiwanese, and certainly made use of star anise and garlic. The braised pork belly was fatty and tender, but I didn't like that the veggies were pickled. It's still too bad that they got rid of
the Singapore bowl.
